Reservation and Cancellation Policies

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for all reservations at time of booking except Christmas and New Year’s bookings which require a 50% non-refundable deposit.

Cheechako Cabins has a 2 night minimum stay policy. Reservation requests for one (1) night only will not be accepted. A three (3) night minimum stay policy applies to reservations for all long weekends and, during the Christmas/New Years holiday period (December 21 – January)

Please Note: Christmas Day or New Year’s Day check-in requests will not be accepted.

For those not using a credit card for reservations, we require a 25% non-refundable deposit (certified cheque or money order), for all nights reserved; to be received within ten (10) business days of booking.

Please note that cabin charges are based on the confirmed occupancy of your party for ALL nights reserved. This means if you book for 4 people for 4 nights but 2 of them leave 2 days early, the cabin charge is still the same as if they were there for the entire stay. There are no refunds for early departures or for members of your party that fail to arrive. Additional occupants (provided we can accommodate them) over the number confirmed for your reservation will be billed at $35.00 per person for all nights reserved regardless of their length of stay. For example: Guests who reserved for 3 nights and invited 2 people to the cabin (even for just a few hours) will be billed an additional $210.00 plus taxes. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Full payment for all nights reserved, less reservation deposit, is due upon check-in.

Check-in time is no earlier than 4:00 p.m. Cabins are NEVER ready before 4PM and early arrivals will always be turned away and told to vacate the property until check-in time. We do not make exceptions to this policy.

Check-out time is 11:00 AM. We do not do late check-outs and failure to vacate the cabin by 11:00 AM will result in an additional charge of another night’s stay, based on occupancy. This does not mean you get to stay longer or for another night.

Guests who may arrive later than 10:00 PM must make arrangements for a late check-in.
